For their annual Cephalocon conference, open source project Ceph wanted a fun, vibrant event design that would leverage their existing undersea theme in a new way. I created a custom seaweed illustration to serve as the core of the design, using Ceph's red and teal colour palette to give it an unexpected, abstract twist while maintaining a tight connection to the existing brand. The full suite of event collateral were a collaboration between myself and Amanda Cohen, who adapted the design for use in the on-site print signage.
